To receive the maximum benefit from a Jeeva Samadhi, one must approach with pure affection and awe. The Saints are alive in their awareness; your internal state determines what you receive.
1. Offerings of Fragrance: Upon entering, first offer your prayers with your attention fixed on the Ajna Chakra (between the eyebrows). Light a packet of high-quality incense (Agarbathi) and offer flowers or a mala to the Shiva Lingam.
2. Harmonizing with the Space: Find a calm place to sit. Before meditating, close your eyes and allow your body and mind to get accustomed to the divine energy. Be “open enough” to receive.
3. The Meditative Absorption: As you meditate on your chosen Chakra, you will feel the divine energy emanating from the Samadhi. It will engulf you and store itself within your physical body and Chakras.
The 12 Steps to Divine Communication
To communicate with a Saint in Jeeva Samadhi, one must move beyond the “mind” and into the “being.” Follow these steps with total surrender:
Purification of Intent: Before entering, ensure your heart is pure and your intention is spiritual. Approach the Samadhi not as a tourist, but as a seeker of truth.
Burning Mental Impurities: Use the power of your previous Tapas or a moment of intense focus to “burn” away the active distractions of the daily mind.
Achieving Inner Silence: Once inside the sanctum, consciously silence your internal dialogue. The Saint communicates in the gap between your thoughts.
Absolute Mental Awareness: Be a witness to your own mind. Observe every flicker of thought without engaging with it, staying centered in your awareness.
Sensory Fine-Tuning: Open the pores of your skin and all your senses. You are not just “looking”; you are making your entire body an antenna to receive divine emissions.
Perceiving the Divine Fragrance: As you settle, you will first begin to receive the subtle, unique “Fragrance of the Saint.” This is a physical sign of your connection.
Absorption of Sacred Elements: You will then start to absorb the fragrance of the flowers on the deity and the scent of the Vibhuti (holy ash) emanating from the Saint.
Receiving Prana Shakti: The Samadhi will begin to emit Prana Shakti (life-force energy). You must consciously draw this energy into your physical being.
Distribution to the Chakras: Once the Prana is received, mentally share and circulate this energy through all your seven Chakras to stabilize your state.
Total Openness & Surrender: When you are completely “available” and in a state of total surrender, your mind will naturally begin to “read” the non-verbal signals emitting from the Samadhi.
Direct Questioning: Only at this point of high-energy synchronization should you ask your questions. Do not “think” the questions; simply let them arise from your heart.
Instantaneous Revelation: The answers will reach you the moment you ask, without a time gap and without the process of logical thinking. You will simply “know” the truth.
HH Guruji Sundar often shares a simple method for seeking “Yes/No” guidance:
Place two small folded papers (one ‘Yes’, one ‘No’) on the Shiva Lingam.
Pray for two minutes.
As you reach to pick one, the paper itself will “send a signal” to your hand.
When you act with the blessings of the Saint at the Jeeva Samadhi, everything in your life will unfold smoothly.
Impact on the Meditator
The Energy Reservoir: When a prepared seeker meditates at a Jeeva Samadhi, divine energy emanates from the shrine and slowly engulfs them. This energy eventually enters the physical body and is stored in the specific Chakra the seeker focuses on.
A Warning for Seekers: This divine energy is precious. Upon returning home, be aware that moving immediately back into family dynamics can cause this energy to dissipate, as the bodies of those around you may unconsciously “suck” or drain this stored light. Guard your silence after a visit to allow the energy to integrate.
